About Tim
Hello, I'm Tim. I design and build tools for myself and other humans to use, whether as software on a computer or as techniques on paper. I believe that to design is to be aware of how people think and feel while using a tool to accomplish a goal. I encourage you to ask why tools are the way they are and look for ways to redesign or eliminate them to better serve the people and world around you.
I play drum set and percussion. I love cymbals, the hammered metal discs that sound beautiful when you whack them with a stick. I enjoy making music and tools for creative process and publication. Other hobbies include identifying patterns, bridging gaps with analogies, and getting to the root of things.
